Precision and versatility without thermal limits
- Cold cutting without structural alterations
- No heat-affected zone
- High precision even on significant thicknesses
- Capability for inclined cuts up to ±55°
- Wide range of workable materials
Waterjet cutting is a cold-working process that uses a high-pressure water jet combined with an abrasive to erode the material.
Thanks to 5-axis technology, it is possible to produce complex, angled and three-dimensional cuts, ensuring high precision and maximum versatility of application.
Waterjet cutting generates no heat during the machining process, thereby preventing deformation, stress or structural changes in the material.
The ultra-high-pressure jet, mixed with abrasive, enables even very hard materials to be scored and cut whilst maintaining high precision and edge quality.
This technology is particularly suitable for applications requiring:
high dimensional accuracy
no thermally affected zones
cutting of heat-sensitive materials
angled or complex cuts
Working cutting area: 4000 × 3000 × 230 mm
Waterjet cutting allows for the processing of a wide range of materials, including:
Metals: Iron, Aluminium, Steel, Bronze, Copper and Brass
Plastics: Polyethylene, PVC, Nylon, Teflon and Plexiglass
Other materials: Marble and granite, Quartz glass (non-tempered) and Composite materials
Waterjet technology also allows for the processing of heterogeneous and laminated materials.
